Dallas and I had our second daughter this morning. It happened very fast. So fast that my wife was unable to get an epidural and delivered our new angel naturally. There have been many advancements with digital sensors housed within all digital video and still cameras, but the “Red One” manufactured by Red Digital Cinema Camera Company is a huge leap. The physical resolution of this video camera is 4900 x 2580 pixels at 30 frames per second and the sensor measures in 24.4 x 13.7 mm (334 mm2). All other digital HD cameras sit at 1920 x 1080/1280 x 720 at 30 frames per second. Below are a few examples:
