The surf picked up around here a few weeks ago. It was big for the gulf coast with an onshore wind making for churned up surf. Eventually the wind died and it cleaned up. A good friend of mine Nik McCue took a few shots before he went out. Here’s one:

I was lucky enough to get a painting published in Surfing Magazine. The magazine, (though I’m biased after working for Transworld SURF; Surfing Magazines competitor.) looks great.

The painting accompanies a short story / poem in the back of the book named “Last Ride”.
It was a lot of fun and I hope to do more.
